
Ellen Milan is an internationally recognized artist whose studio is in Lincoln, MA. Her artwork in various media has been displayed in galleries, museums and competitions throughout North America and Europe. These pieces currently grace the homes of many private collectors as well as being included in the collections of museums and public institutions.
Ellen’s work can best be classified as innovative and experimental both in techniques and materials. The totality of her work reflects a superb ability to draw and sketch. This includes lyrical impressions of nature and life in general… intense faces in a city crowd… live, delicate sketches of concerts and other events… vibrant paintings from nature on silk.
Ellen taught art to children for twenty years in the Newton Public School system. She currently teaches private lessons to adults in her Lincoln studio.
